How to export, import and safely delete local data.

JSON backup

The JSON file contains catalogue, listening and equipment data. Store it securely because it may include private notes and serial numbers.

Import

Import replaces current data after basic schema validation. The file limit is 5 MB. Code from the file is never executed.

CSV

CSV is useful for spreadsheet analysis but does not preserve every relationship in the JSON backup.
